DESCRIPTION:On the occasion of Europe Day\, we warmly invite you to visit the exhibition: \n“CYRIL AND METHODIUS: Men of Dialogue” \nThis exhibition\, prepared in collaboration with the Together4Europe network\, highlights two great spiritual and cultural figures of Europe. Saints Cyril and Methodius\, brothers from Thessaloniki in the 9th century\, were missionaries sent to the Slavic peoples. They are best known for creating the Glagolitic alphabet\, which made it possible to translate liturgical texts into local languages\, thus opening new paths for dialogue between cultures\, languages\, and traditions. Their legacy has deeply shaped European history\, and today they are honoured as co-patrons of Europe and as patron saints in many European countries. \nTheir message resonates strongly at the heart of the European Quarter: a call to unity in diversity\, to dialogue among peoples\, and to mutual understanding across cultures. \nJoin us in celebrating Europe through art\, history\, and encounter! \nWhen: You can visit the exhibition during the Chapel’s opening hours\, Monday to Thursday from 12:00 to 14:00 until the end of May\, complete with all the original icons and\, until the summer closing of the Chapel\, the rest of the exhibition.\nIf you would like to have a group visit with your community or friends\, please get in touch with us at welcome@chapelforeurope.eu. \nWhere: Chapel for Europe\, Rue Van Maerlant 22/24\, 1040 Etterbeek

DESCRIPTION:Come and be curious. An Alpha course is a series of group conversations that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith in an open\, friendly environment. Everyone’s welcome. No matter your background or beliefs\, you’re invited. \nAlpha brings together people from all walks of life who are curious about faith. Each session starts with some time to eat\, relax\, and get to know your group. \nEach session covers a different topic of faith\, either in a short talk or video. The Alpha episodes are designed to engage and inspire conversation. They’re about thirty minutes long and explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity\, addressing questions such as Who is Jesus?\, How can we have faith? And how does God guide us? \nThe last part of an Alpha course is a chance to share your thoughts on the session’s topic and discuss it in your small group. It’s an open and welcoming environment\, no matter what your opinion. There’s no pressure to say anything\, but the floor is yours if you do want to. \nHere you find an introduction video.  \nDates: 12 Wednesdays from 19:00 to 20:30\, starting on Wednesday\, 30 September\, and once on a Saturday\, date to be confirmed. \nRegistration is required.
